These committees advise ISO-NE about design and oversight of reliability standards for New England and the development of the Regional System Plan.
Advises ISO-NE about design and oversight of reliability standards for New England and the development of the Regional System Plan
Advises ISO-NE on Load Power Factor Standards and requirements for voltage/reactive data needed for transmission system performance.
Analyzes the dynamic behavior of New England’s bulk electric power system as planned and installed. Reports to Reliability Committee.
Assists in developing requirements to ensure that New England’s bulk electric power system meets established reliability standards and economic objectives.
Examines issues related to the ability of New Englands generation, transmission and other resources to meet reliability requirements.
Reviews load forecasting methods and related assumptions used by ISO-NE, and provides load related information for regional studies.
Provides recommendations to the Reliability Committee regarding equipment used on New England's bulk power system. SDTF reviews and develops guidelines for determining thermal ratings of transmission lines and terminal equipment and identifies design, engineering, and construction issues.
